About Us
Magnolia Dance Studio is proud to provide training that encompasses so much more than dance steps and technique. Our goal is to teach the mind, body, and souls of our students, giving them the tools necessary to succeed in life regardless of the path they follow. We are proud to offer an inclusive and welcoming environment, home to a variety of classes for dancers, athletes, and performing artists of all ages. The impact a dance studio and its teachers can have on a child’s life is something very real and lasting, and is a responsibility we take very seriously.

Though we officially began this journey as Magnolia Dance Studio in the summer of 2024, it really began back in 1998 when our founder, Jordan Beach Hall decided at the age of seven that she wanted to be a dance teacher. She wanted to share her passion for this beautiful art with others and inspire them in the way she always felt so inspired during her training.

A Jefferson City native, Jordan started dancing at the age of four, training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, and hip hop. She was also a competitive dancer and traveled to compete, perform, and attend conventions around Missouri and the midwest. At Christmas time, she enjoyed performing in “The Nutcracker” with her childhood studio for seven years. Jordan began student teaching at the age of fourteen, and has not stopped teaching dance since.

In high school, Jordan was a member and one year Captain of the Helias Dance Explosion Team and participated in many community theatre and school musicals. After graduation, Jordan moved to Denver, Colorado to attend art school for photography. She worked as the Ballet Mistress and a tap teacher at Cutting Edge Dance and Acro for three years. After moving back home to Jefferson City in 2015, Jordan started teaching at a local studio as their tap and ballet teacher for ages nine and up. She has also worked as a coach for competitive dancers for the last six years. Her work has won countless awards including many 1st overalls, High Point Champions, Solo Titles, Industry Dance Awards, and six awards for Outstanding Choreography.

During the day, Jordan is a wife and mother of two, and works multiple jobs in our community. Along with her full time commitment to Magnolia Dance Studio she is the Musical Choreographer for Hickman High School Theatre, a Photo Editor, and also volunteers as a Choreographer for Capital City Productions and The Little Theatre of Jefferson City. Jordan was raised in a family full of actors, singers, and musicians, so musical theatre has always been a big part of her life. She has choreographed twenty five musicals over the last nine years. Jordan loves sharing her passion for dance and the performing arts with all of her students and the community! Magnolia Dance Studio is her dream come true!
